1. What is Side-Bend Silicone LED Neon Flex?
Side-Bend Silicone LED Neon Flex is a flexible linear lighting product designed to bend horizontally from side to side. It provides smooth, continuous neon-like illumination without visible LED dots.
2. What is the difference between Side-Bend and Top-Bend Neon Flex?
Side-Bend Neon Flex bends horizontally along the side direction, while Top-Bend Neon Flex bends vertically along the light-emitting surface. The correct type should be selected according to the installation curve and project design.
3. What colors are available?
We offer Single Color, Tunable White, RGB, RGBW, RGB+CCT, and addressable pixel versions. Customized color temperatures and special wavelengths are also available.
4. Is Side-Bend LED Neon Flex waterproof?
Yes. Waterproof versions are available for outdoor and wet-location applications, typically with IP67 or IP68 protection depending on the product structure and connection method.
5. Can it be cut to custom lengths?
Yes. The neon flex can be cut according to its specified cutting interval. We can also supply customized finished lengths with pre-installed cables, connectors, and end caps.
6. What voltage options are available?
DC12V and DC24V are the most common options. DC24V is generally recommended for longer runs because it offers better voltage stability and reduced voltage drop.
7. Can you provide long-run versions?
Yes. Constant-current and long-run solutions are available for projects requiring longer continuous lengths. The maximum run length depends on the voltage, power, PCB design, and product size.
8. Does the neon flex have visible LED dots?
No. The optical silicone structure and LED arrangement are designed to create a smooth and uniform light line with minimal visible spotting.
9. What is the minimum bending radius?
The minimum bending radius depends on the size and structure of the neon flex. Please follow the specified bending radius in the datasheet to avoid damaging the internal PCB or silicone housing.
10. Can Side-Bend Neon Flex be twisted?
Twisting is not recommended. The product should only be bent in its designed side-bending direction to prevent PCB damage and ensure long-term reliability.
11. Can it be dimmed or controlled?
Yes. Depending on the version, it can support PWM dimming, 0-10V, DALI, DMX512, Zigbee, Tuya, SPI, and other control systems.
12. What accessories are available?
We can supply aluminum mounting profiles, mounting clips, power cables, connectors, end caps, controllers, power supplies, and other installation accessories.
13. Can it be used outdoors?
Yes. UV-resistant and waterproof silicone versions are suitable for outdoor architectural lighting, landscape lighting, façade outlines, signage, and other exterior applications.
